Many of the chi practices are used for self-healing. All chi practices taught by the Integral Way aim to increase both the bodily energy and the vital force in order to promote optimum health and overcome illness. Each practice uses different methods to combine the breath, the intention and the movements to cultivate and receive the cosmic energy that facilitates healing.
Chi healing has been known to help with all types of illness, common and uncommon, including hard-to-treat conditions such as cancer, or chronic diseases like high blood pressure, arthritis and allergies. Great results have been reported with all these conditions when one practices regularly.
Healing through the energy of cosmic chi is not new. It has been recorded in both the West and the East at different times. Innumerable people have also alleviated their illness or reduced their pain through the Integral Way chi practices such as tai chi and qigong, which includes the Eight Treasures and Harmony Tai Chi and Self-Healing Qigong. Most chi practices from the Integral Way are taught through the Chi Health Institute but people can also learn from a certified chi instructor or teach themselves through the tapes and DVDs at Tao EShop. Our Chi Practices has several levels for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. The beginners’ level is easier to learn and takes less time to practice. It is designed for people who have limited time to commit to learn one form over a year or more yet is still a very effective healing and health maintenance practice.
